BeforeCrew is a Manhattan field-documentation service for vendors who need better site information before they quote a job or send a crew.
We work with millwork, fixture, furniture, sign, fabrication, and installation teams that have projects in New York but may not have local field staff. The client tells us exactly what they need documented. We visit the site and return an organized Site Pack tied to their checklist, so they can make a better early decision, prepare a sharper quote, spot problems sooner, and decide whether a specialist or crew visit is needed next.
The goal is simple: reduce the cost of uncertainty before a vendor commits travel, labor, or equipment.
BeforeCrew was started by a Manhattan-based founder with a background in building design and construction documentation, who has spent years on the receiving end of incomplete site information. The service is deliberately narrow. It is preliminary field intelligence, not architectural, engineering, professional surveying, certification, or code-compliance work, and the vendor independently verifies every consequential condition.
Our launch goal
Start with a small number of qualified business clients, deliver a useful and repeatable Site Pack, learn which facts save them the most time and travel, and grow from a focused Manhattan service into a trusted field-intelligence partner for vendors working across markets.
