How it works

Every request goes through the same short path. Each step narrows the job to what a local visit can safely observe and what your team can use for an early decision.

   Business gate

   Legal company name, work email, billing address, signer name and title, and authority to bind the company. BeforeCrew is business-to-business only.
2. 2

   Purpose gate

   You select the decision the visit supports: quote triage, access and delivery check, or pre-visit planning. Uses that require final dimensions are declined, not papered over with a checkbox.

   Capture scope

   The base pack is a scan of one work zone: a 3D reference capture you can walk through, indexed photos, and an access checklist. Add a second zone if the scope is split across rooms or floors. You pick a visit window: early morning, midday (Midtown sites), evening, or weekend at no extra charge, or weekday business hours on request.

   Measured points, when you need them

   If your team needs specific points read to a stated tolerance, you list them and pick a tolerance class for each group. Each point is read with a laser distance meter or tape, with the instrument, method, and reading height recorded and a photo of the point. Points without a tolerance are marked reference only.

   Hard-stop screen

   Some uses are outside the service. If any answer indicates one of these, the request stops.

   • Fabrication, cutting, or ordering final-size material without vendor remeasurement
   • Release of shop drawings, permits, code compliance, or direction of construction
   • Life-safety, structural, concealed, hazardous, or legally restricted conditions
   • A consumer or homeowner ordering for personal use
   • The site is a one- to four-family house (single-family, townhouse, or brownstone)

   Conspicuous assent

   The key limits sit directly above four separate, unchecked acknowledgements and the acceptance button. The full Terms are linked beside them.

   Field visit

   Only requested, visible, safely accessible facts are captured. Gaps are marked, not inferred. The technician does not enter concealed spaces, move finishes, or test materials.

   Restricted handoff

   The pack repeats the purpose, tolerances, exceptions, terms version, and the no-reliance legend on every page. Delivery is by private link within two business days.
